Jeddah Gate Progressing on Schedule

IBS Construction Company, one of the largest Construction companies of the kingdom, devoted to high-end residential and commercial construction in selected national markets, has going to complete the largest Project Jeddah Gate Very Soon. Owner by Emaar Middle East in Saudi Arabia. We currently have three divisions dedicated to serving our Clients with an integrated approach throughout the lifecycle of a Project.

Emaar Middle East had awarded contracts to a number of leading Saudi Arabian companies to develop the Jeddah Gate infrastructure and undertake the construction of various components. Work is currently progressing on schedule, and the first components of the project taking shape. The project comprises of 6,000 residential units, 230,000 sq. m. of office space and 75,000 sq. m. of commercial area. It includes amenities such as schools, offices, mosques, hotels and residential units, along with children’s play areas and recreational spaces.

Abraj Al Hilal residential towers feature two, three and four bedroom apartments and penthouses. The three towers, ranging from 19 to 22 storeys, have an elegant architecture that blends contemporary and traditional styles. The apartments range in size from 124 to 600 sq m. Amenities include two outdoor swimming pools located on a lushly landscaped podium, an indoor swimming pool for ladies, modern health & fitness facilities, squash court, a business center with meeting rooms and a children's daycare centre.

Emaar Middle East has said that phase one of the US $1.6 billion (SAR6 billion) Jeddah Gate development is on track to meet its 2010 construction deadline.

As of December 2009, more than 65 per cent work has been completed with  Over 800 professionals and skilled workers are employed on site .On an average, 7,000 man hours are being used daily on the construction of the prestigious project on-schedule to hand over in 2010. At the current rate, one floor is added every eight days, marking the rapid progress in the construction of the residential tower, and recording one of the best construction progress reports in the Kingdom.

The project will help meet the huge demand of housing needed in Jeddah, which has an expected population growth of 2.25 million by 2029, according to Jeddah Municipality’s Strategic Plan - released in May this year - which maps out the city’s development over the next 20 years
