(HOTEL ARAC MAKKAH) with International Building Systems Company for Contracting (IBS), during a ceremony organized by the company in the auditorium at its headquarter yesterday in Madinah Al Munawarah. The contract has been signed by Engr. Ibrahim Suleiman Al Rebah, General Manager of ARAC; and Engr. Humam Ibrahim Jabban, General Manager of IBS signed on its behalf. This contract signing ceremony has been carried out in the presence of the Chairman as well as the Board Members of ARAC. During the ceremony, Engineer Al Rebah mentioned, on signing the contract, the details of the project that is going to be executed over an area of 33,564 m2 at Rei Baksh, main Ajyad Street with exceptional location, being close to the Grand Mosque, at distance of about 1.5 kilometers. The hotel shall consist of 436 suites that can accommodate more than 1,000 guests, and its building shall include three floors for parking and building services, a separate floor for reception and restaurants, and a complete floor to be allocated for mosque. Engineer Al-Rebah while illustrating, said that the basic material shall consist of Glass, Aluminum and Stones to give the building finest elevation and appearance. Similarly, the hotel shall provide latest service facilities pursuant to the international building systems and standards such as insulation of floors, external walls, and double glass windows. Central Air Conditioning system will be used with the provision of individual control in each unit as well as remote control system for security and control devices for all the building systems. The most advanced fire alarm and fire fighting systems shall be installed in the whole building; in addition to reliable systems of security and surveillance for all entrances and exits of the hotel. Following the Royal instructions in regard to conserving water and electricity, the latest and advanced systems of water and electricity guidelines shall be followed.
